Christmas usually means meetings and rest with family and the loved ones. This may involve both joy and contenment as well as stress and frustration resulting among others from nervousness about preparations or being unable to get home for holidays.

-The Psychological Counselling Center would like to invite those who are stressed and think of Christmas as something that is difficult for them to talk to us briefly – says Dr. Szymon Chrząstowski, head of the Psychological Counselling Centre at the University of Warsaw.

PCC is a psychological first aid point for the university community. Students and staff will receive short-term support and an indication of where to get further help.

PCC will also be open on certain days during the Christmas and New Year time. On the day preceding Christmas Eve (23/12), the walk-in clinic duty will be extended – you will  be able to come to PCC without signing up for a short support conversation between 12.00 and 15.00. Details can be found on the CPP website: http://cpp.uw.edu.pl/
